My latest card, first of all I cut a piece of Floral Designer Series Specialty Paper, approximately 5 and three quarter inches by three and three quarters, then I used night of navy ink with a sponge brayer to colour the paper.
I made the mason jar and flowers using night of navy and delightful dijon I also did some in grey.
I used sticky pads for dimension so that the card looks 3D.
When it was all stuck down I cut a piece of night of navy card 6 inches by 4 and stuck it on a 6 by 4 card then added the completed front of the card on the blue card. I often prefer to use a ready made card, so i have a few packets of blank ones for this reason.
If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.

Oh so succulent by Stampin up
Well, this is a lovely set, you can do so much with it, I had this box frame for a long time, and now found a use for it. I made the flowers by cutting them all out in my machine, I used a sponge to colour the ends, it was very therapeutic. I used Rich razzleberry ink on the same colour card stock. I used Old olive card for the green flowers and added rich razzleberry on the ends in the ink.I stuck them together with glue as I found it easier than glue dots, you can also move it to make sure its in the right place. Simple, left it to dry. Added some neveau drops in the middle of the flowers. I could paint the frame if I wanted to, but I kind of like it in natural

Christmas magic card
Well, I havent had much time lately to make my cards, I seem to have more time to order more stock though, Its Christmas round the corner now, time to start thinking about the cards for Christmas. I wanted to make Christian cards, that would be a novelty!!! I just couldnt find nice ones. So I gave in.
I have to say, Im not usually over keen on my cards I often think they arent good enough but I do like this one a lot. I have so much more to do, I could do with a few days of making more cards.
This card was made with the Stampin up range, my favourite. Christmas magic is the name of the lovely stamp set, used together with SU s ink pads it works so well.I coloured in the train with some different felt pens I have, then went over it with wink of stella glitter pen.
I enjoyed the sponging for the background in the oval shape. You are supposed to cut it out, but I had some cards with ovals already cut out so I made the template with that. It seems the more you buy, you still need one more thing.
If you have this set, you can make the card, if you want to know anymore, dont forget to ask me, its always nice to know whos looking at my blog.

Thoughtful hydrangea card
This is a lovely hydrangea card, The cardstock colour I used is called crumb cake, with rich razzleberry. I sponged the die cut hydrangea in rich razzleberry ink. I layered it and added a few individual flowers, finally I added glossy accents. I love the use of the burlap ribbon, I ruched it by sewing it, lovely effect I think, bit different.
white shimmer meets thoughtful branches
Christmas time
Well, its time to start thinking of Christmas a bit now. Otherwise I know what will happen, it will be too late, I cant imagine buying cards as i have too much stuff.
Here is a card, I made with the SU range of thoughtful branches, my favourite set so far. I embossed the white card with the falling snow folder from SU. I stamped the trees, first of all with soft suede for the branches, then I used a Tim Holtz green for the trees. I tried to fade it into the background.
I am quite pleased with this for a Christmas card. I plan to make my cards mostly similar, and quite basic with not too much detail.

Autumn card and cat
I made this card using a tree die that I had for a while, I believe its by tattered lace but am not too sure, I probably could find out if anyone wanted to know, its really nice I think. It cuts it and embosses which is one of my favourites. I sponged over the bark then coloured in the leaves in Autumn colours. I stamped the fence in soft suede, and some grass. then the lovely cat in chocolate chip ink.
I really like this card
